We are hiring 1 Retreat Coordinator

Compensation includes:

  • $300
  • Retreat T-Shirt

Responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Support the RW Retreat from start to finish approximately 8-10 hours on Saturday, Oct. 8th
  • 4-6 hours of planning support leading up to and following the event
  • Manage and direct all retreat volunteers
  • Serve as retreat liaison, answering questions and supporting the participants throughout the day
  • Assist with setup and breakdown
  • Support with participant check-in
  • Ensure snacks/water are always stocked
  • Act as main point of contact with vendors
  • Direct participants to different workshops areas as needed
  • Understand and support the risk management plan

Qualifications:

  • Because this is a BIPOC event, you should identify as a woman of color
  • You should be resourceful and a self-starter
  • You should be observant and proactive
  • You should have some experience managing a team of volunteers and/or employees
  • You should have some experience coordinating events (doesn’t necessarily have to be outdoor events)
  • You should enjoy being outdoors
  • You should be comfortable being on your feet outdoors most of the day in potentially wet/muddy conditions
  • You should have transportation to and from the event
  • You should be e first aid/cpr certified or Wilderness First Aid certified

  • You should enjoy being outdoors
